Mohbad’s father, Mr Joseph Aloba is set to release a tribute album in honour of his late son, Mohbad. The news of this album has caused a series of reactions from various Nigerians especially after everything that happened when Mohbad passed away a few months ago. Recall Mohbad died on the 12th of September 2023 in a controversial manner which raised lots of eyebrows. The circumstances surrounding his death remain strange till date.
Mohbad whose full name was Ilerioluwa Aloba was a famous Nigerian singer, and songwriter before he died. He was formerly a signee of Naira Marley who is a well-known musician and Niara Marley was a prime suspect in his death alongside his associate, Sam Larry and the duo were later arrested but have been released on bail. After his death, his father buried him immediately and this also was a cause for concern. His father buried him in Ikorodu the day after he died, and the body was later dug up on the 21st of September 2023 by the police for autopsy.
His father Joseph Aloba is now planning to release a tribute album for Mohbad to honour him. The flier for the soon-to-be-released album has gone viral. The title of the album is ‘Itunu’, a Yoruba word meaning comfort in English language. The date for the album release has not been disclosed yet. The album is produced by Latsoul film international.
