The coroner seeking to uncover the mystery surrounding late singer Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba aka Mohbad's death has revealed that the deceased's friends are keeping a secret about an incident that occurred two days before his death.
Mohbad passed away on September 12, 2023, at age 27, erupting controversies about his sudden death. Since Mohbad passed away, there have been a series of investigations into his death.
Several people have been brought in for questioning including his family members, wife, close associates, his former label boss, Naira Marley, and his friend Sam Larry, who allegedly bullied him before his death. An autopsy was also conducted to find out the cause of his death but the police said the results are yet to be out.
According to a statement submitted on behalf of Mohbad's father, Mr. Joseph Aloba, it was stated that a particular incident occurred on the Third Mainland Bridge at about 2:30 am on 10th September 2023 which the witnesses failed to reveal to the coroner. It was further revealed that some incidents took place at Mohbad's house the day he died.
It was also revealed that the issue of the security cameras in Mohbad's house not functioning before his death isn't true as told by the witnesses. The witnesses include Mohbad's wife, Omowunmi, his friends, Ayobami Fisayo aka Spending, Ibrahim Owodunni aka Primeboy, and his cousin, Boluwatife Adeyemo aka Darosha. These aforementioned were with the deceased at the time of the incidents. Therefore, their testimony will shed more light on the pending case and provide more answers to the circumstances leading to Mohbad's death.
