Mother faints as 2 children get electrocuted to death in Lagos state.
A mother of 3 children recently fainted after her 2 of her children got electrocuted to death recently in Lagos state. This incident ocxured in Mushin area in Lagos State. The mother has been rushed to the hospital and is currently battling for her life.
This occured as a result of shock after she lost 2 of her children recently. These children had been electrocuted on Thursday, September 21, 2023. The children were a 10 year old girl and a 7 year old boy. They had gotten electrocuted when they attempted to turn on the television after they had returned from school.
The parents of these children were not close by when the incident occured. The children after coming back from school proceeded to turn on the TV from the socket and were electrocuted. When the parents discovered what had happened, the mother feel into shock and fainted.
This woman has 3 children but the last one was still been breastfed when the older ones passed away in this tragic incident.
A witness in the area also gave a statement after the incident. She stated “I heard that it was after school on Thursday, the girl was trying to turn on the TV from the socket when she got electrocuted. Without even knowing what had happened to his older sister, the younger boy went to touch her, he too got electrocuted"
She also added “They stayed at that spot until the light was taken and then they fell. I heard the woman is still at the hospital. She has yet to recover from the shock. We heard that when people went to visit her, she couldn’t talk, she couldn’t cry, she just sat at a spot, looking.”
