Popular Hollywood movie director William Friedkin, has passed away recently. The director died yesterday Monday, August 7, 2023.He passed away at the age of 87 years.
The late director is popularly known for his movie titled “The Exorcist”. This movie was very popular. The Exorcist is a horror movie from 1973. This movie was so popular and it was about a 12 year old girl who was possessed by the devil.
He is also known popularly for another movie titled the French Connection and Killer Joe. These are just a few of the movies he directed.
It was a family friend who revealed the death of the director. He passed away in Los Angeles and this was after a battle with an unspecified health challenge.
He has been married 4 times to different wives but the woman he was married to before his death is Sherry Lansing. They got married in the year 1991 up till this year 2023. They had 2 sons together.
