Movie Producer Adanma Luke breaks silence over the death of her production crew
Asabawood movie producer, Adanma Luke, has finally broken silence over the death of five of her production members following the tragic boating accident. She said she has been traumatized since the day of the incident which was the 10th of April. She has been running helter-skelter giving out money to rent ambulances and paying divers who retrieved the bodies of her crew members from the water. She regrets going to Asaba to shoot the movie instead of staying in Lagos as she has always done.
Adanma said this was her first time working with Junior Pope as she is friends with both him and his wife. The other crew members have been working for her since last year and she considers them as family. She was meant to be on the same boat that capsized but couldn't follow them because her D.O.P pleaded that she return to her hotel to bring the memory card they'd be using for the movie. After she arrived at the movie location, she saw one of her staff Emeka sitting quietly without working. Also, the location was still empty as those who were meant to be on set hadn't arrived.
She asked for clarification on what was happening and that was when she heard that the boat conveying her actor and other crew members had capsized. Tears kept rolling down Adanma's cheek as she narrated how everything went down on the day of the incident.
