A Nigerian movie producer identified as Diwa Ishaya profusely lamented over the hindrance she is currently encountering in Maldives. She said she had wanted to spend this holiday season in Nigeria but had a change of mind and decided to visit the Maldives. Unbeknownst to her, the current weather in Maldives isn't favorable to tourists because they wouldn't be able to enjoy their outdoor activities because the weather is windy and rainy.

She was frustrated that she couldn't get her money's worth after booking a 14-day stay for $850 a night. She added, "So, I was supposed to travel to Nigeria, but something happened and I had a change of mind. And I just thought, you know what, I'll just go on holiday somewhere probably the Maldives. Because I've not been here. And I booked 14-day trip to this resort. And for the past 3 days, I arrived on 26th. For the last three days, it has been raining. All I do is to stay inside, eat buffet, come back, sit down, watch Netflix. I paid $850 for a night. Right now it's like my brain got formatted."

The Kaduna-born movie producer couldn't believe that she missed the merriment in Nigeria such as the Christmas Jollof rice and pounded yam just to sleep and wake up in Maldives. This is just one of the cases of a vacation gone wrong.
