The Evil Genius is Mr Eazi's latest album. The album was released on the 27th of October 2023. According to him, the album is a 100% about him and his life. The album contains songs like Legalise, Show dem, Orokoko, Zuzulakate, Jamboree, Fefenefe and many others.

In his words "I was trying to sign one of the biggest Nigerian artists from last year. I was trying to sign him earlier this year and I was having this conversation and I was saying 'I wanna sign you' and he was like 'yeah Eazi I wanna sign with you but I'm hearing so many things about you, it's like you're some Evil Genius or something' so a big shout out to him for helping me name this album. I spent the next hour and 30 minutes talking to him and trying to convince him I not an evil genius and what did they say I did, do i owe anybody, I don't owe anybody, I didn't steal anybody royalties, all my producers are credited, they get their 50% publishing, they get their royalties. And then I realised, why am I obsessed with proving myself"

He revealed that the album was about what he was going through. He was asked if this new album is a form of therapy for him and he agreed
"This is a testament of therapy. Before I made this album I didn't believe in therapy like I just thought therapy was for rich people. The concept of speaking about what you're going through was alien to me until I started doing therapy. The music was therapy for me"
