MTN Nigeria Communications plc. has announced to NSE and to the general investing community on the resignation of Rob Shuter as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the board.

Rob Shuter's resignation took effect on Tuesday, September 1. Company Secretary of the firm, Mrs Uto Ukpana in a notice published on NSE's official website on Wednesday stated;

"The board of MTN Nigeria would like to express it appreciation to Mr Shuter for his exemplary leadership, focus and commitment to the success of the company.

"The board wishes him the best in his future endeavours". She said.

Rob Shuter was appointed to the Board of Directors MTN Nigeria on 13th April, 2017. He served as President and CEO of the MTN Group limited.
