My househelp lied she has a heart problem to defraud me, actress Lilian Afegbai says
Nollywood actress Lilian Afegbai narrated how her house-help almost defrauded her in her Lagos apartment. She said her house-help complained of having a heart-related issue that needed urgent medical attention. Lilian said she became worried and started praying for her house-help without knowing that it was all a scam.
She found out that being nice in Lagos State would be taken for levity when her house-help demanded a huge amount of money for her medical treatment. To lessen the sick house-help's burden, Lilian requested for her prescriptions so she could purchase the medicine for her. But the househelp couldn't present one. Instead, she claimed that the hospital didn't give her a prescription as the medicine could only be purchased at the hospital alone.
Actress Lilian said she went ahead to request for her househelp's medical report to better understand the diagnosis, but the househelp couldn't provide that as well. After some finding, she figured that her house-help intended to milk her under the pretense of buying medication for an illness that didn't exist.
