Nigerian singer Seun Kuti has revealed that he doesn't go to church and that he engages in voodoo practice.
In a recent interview on Spill with Phyna, Seun Kuti revealed that his family Kuti, pioneered the Anglican Church movement in Nigeria. However, his family has moved on from the white man's religion and he hopes Africans do the same.
Seun Kuti who revealed that he practices African religion, said most Christians believe in the pastor more than the prophet and they don't want the truth. He said if Jesus Christ were on earth, they would have sent him away with their misbehavior.
Seun Kuti stated that every Christian in Nigeria wants to be rich even when Jesus himself said "It is easier for a camel to pass through a needle's eye than for a rich man to enter into heaven". He said, "It's either you people believe in Jesus and go and meet him in heaven or you're just using this Christianity to be rich."
