Namibia qualified for the next round of the African Cup of Nations after playing a 0-0 draw against Mali in Group E of the African Cup of Nations.

The Southern African side finished with four points from three matches. They qualified as one of the third-placed teams that will be allowed to play in the next round of the tournament.

Tunisia, on the other hand, needed just a goal to qualify for the next round of the African Cup of Nations, but the 2004 AFCON champions failed to capitalize on their chances.

The Malians started poorly and were less concerned due to the fact that they had already qualified for the next round of the tournament.
