NDLEA arrest 2 drug Lords, intercept consignment at Lagos Airport
The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has arrested 2 drug Lords and intercepted some consignment at the Lagos airport.
These drug Lords are Qatar-based criminals but were caught at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos. They have been identified as Eyah Nnamdi and Ugwuoke Oluchukwu.
The NDLEA intercepted their consignment consisting of methamphetamine at the airport and arrested them.
The first person Ugwuoke Oluchukwu was arrested on the 9th of June. This was during the outward clearance of Qatar Airways passengers at the departure point.
The officers discovered that this person was traveling to Doha using an Ivorian international passport that had the name Hien Narcisse.
They then carried out further checks on his luggage and discovered a false bottom concealment of two parcels of crystalline substance in his bag. They tested positive for methamphetamine and they weigh 1.00kg.
They carried out further investigation and they discovered he is Nigerian but obtained an Ivorian passport for his trips. He then confessed that he had returned 2 months ago from Qatar which he had traveled to in 2022. He came back to arrange the movement of these drugs.
They then discovered his partner as well and arrested him.
