He recently released a video reacting to these critics. He went ahead to take his stand by and clarified what he said.
He shared that he wanted everyone to hear it "from the horse's mouth and not the publicist's computer".

He says he won't apologize for having an opinion on the matter. He revealed that he is "a 43-year-old heterosexual man raising five boys and two girls"
He says he will only apologize if anyone was offended because it wasn't his intention to offend anyone but that's his opinion and his reality.

He says he normally doesn't care what people think about what he says but this is something he feels very strongly on.
He shared that everyone is entitled to their opinion and he didn't ask anyone to follow him or agree with him. He clarified that he was asked a question and he answered it simply.

He said that everyone should what they want with their kids and he still plans to educate himself more on the matter but there's nothing that can make him change his mind about changing gender identity.
He clarified that he has no issue with the LGBTQIA+ community but he isn't okay with allowing a child to make such a life change decision.

He rounded up saying he loves everyone and they can live how they want to live and love who they want to love as their opinion is theirs and his is his.
