Nigerian skit maker Ogechi Ukonu aka Caramel Plugg, gets in the black book of some netizens for not mentioning the brand that made her dress in an interview with Almera Danjuma.
After Caramel introduced herself, Almera asked for the price of her outfits and accessories. While Caramel proudly mentioned the brands and prices of her shoe, bag, and Van Cleef necklace. She refused to mention the brand she got her dress from. Instead, she said, "My dress is from a ready-to-wear brand, so I'm not going to mention her handle. If I do that, I'm going to be giving her a free promo."

People were pissed at that statement and said she should have mentioned the Nigerian brand.
One @myhairven said, "We rise by lifting others. If you can mention Alexander McQueen, then you can mention the Nigerian brand too." @yoursesther said Caramel's dress is available at the popular Lagos Balogun market. "What's there in giving her a free promo. Gown wey plenty for Balogun."
Another person commented, "You mentioned the big names that don't even care about your existence just to feel among, but the struggling one doesn't deserve free publicity. No wonder they always drag you."
Some people even called her wicked for giving the brand recognition.
