Netizens have reacted to a viral video of some Ogun State local government chairmen prostrating for Governor Dapo Abiodun.
According to reports, the Ogun State governor Dapo Abiodun allegedly diverted funds close to N11bn meant for the local government area which caused an uproar among the chairmen.
This claim was made by the Chairman of Ijebu East Local Government, Hon. Wale Adedayo.
As a result, the local government chairmen were left with no choice but to apologize to the governor as he gave them a furious look.
The leader Hon. Babatunde Emilola Gazal who led the other chairmen ordered them to prostrate while conversing in Yoruba language. He said, "E wole fun agba", which is translated as "Bow down for the elderly".
As soon as he ordered them, they all went down and prostrated as a sign of honor to the governor.
This video has received negative reactions across social media platforms since yesterday as netizens aired their views on how demeaning it looked for LG chairmen to bow to their governor.
