Brazilian striker Neymar Jr. has returned to the Al-Hilal training camp, according to statement from the Saudi Arabia Pro League club. He is now training at the club's training facility.

The winger joined Al Hilal in August 2023 and suffered a horrible ACL injury in October 2023. Earlier this year, a Brazilian doctor claimed that Neymar would fully recover in August 2024, at the beginning of next season.

The Brazilian had played just five games for Al Hilal since joining the club, scoring a goal and creating three assists in all competitions.


Since he returned to Al Hilal training, the football star has been heavily criticized by different fans who never thought the football star would gain a lot of weight.

A fan said Neymar doesn't look fit', and another said retirement is calling'. Other people compared the player's new look to that of retired striker De Lima Ronaldo.

A lot of fans called him "Ronaldo 2.0," another fan said, "Neymar does not care about the competition anymore," and another fan heavily criticized the football star for joining the Middle East giant Al Hilal.

The fan said, "Neymar leaving Barcelona has to be the worst decision a player has ever taken in football history. It's been on a downward path since then. Now, he has added weight. Really sad!"

Neymar Confirms His Next Destination After Leaving Al-Hilal

The Al Hilal attacker had considered leaving Al Hilal for Brazilian side Santos when the time is right.

In an interview, the player said, “I really want to play for Santos again. I know that saying this now puts a lot of pressure on me, but I want to. I already wrote it there when I was leaving. I'm leaving, but I'll be back.”

"I want to play for Santos again; I don't know when, but rest assured that I will return."
