Neymar took to his Instagram page to share a video with several scenes of his recovery process after his ACL surgery.

In the video, one could see him expressing excruciating pain as he shared a wince-worthy update on his ACL injury recovery on Instagram.

He captioned the video with "Everything passes."

Recall we reported that the 31-year-old suffered a knee injury during Brazil's World Cup qualifying match against Uruguay in October.

However, while it seemed like it is an injury he could just brush off and return in no time, Neymar had to undergo surgery earlier this month to treat the ACL.

Neymar is set to miss the rest of the ongoing season and this is a huge blow to Al-Hilal who spent nearly €90 million (£77m/$98m) to sign him from PSG.

The Brazilian will be hoping he recovers fully in time before the Copa America 2024 which starts in June in the US.

Neymar

Neymar da Silva Santos Júnior, known as Neymar Júnior or just Neymar, is a Brazilian footballer who was born on 5 February, 1992 and plays for Al Hilal and the Brazil national team.

The former Barcelona and PSG star is a prolific goalscorer and playmaker renowned for his flamboyant style of play. He is widely regarded as one of the best players in the world and the best Brazilian player of his generation.

He has scored at least 100 goals for three different European clubs, and he is among the few players to have achieved that in football.

At the international level, he is the all-time top goalscorer for his national team with 79 goals in 128 matches and has won a record six Samba Gold awards, given to the best Brazilian player in Europe.

Neymar’s Injury History

Given the way Neymar plays the game, it's hardly surprising that he suffers more injuries than most.

According to Transfermarkt, Neymar has missed an astonishing 202 matches through injuries and illness since the 2013/14 season with Barcelona.

To put this into perspective, this is equivalent of just under two-and-a-half years spent sidelined over the course of a decade.
