NG Clearing appoints Farooq Oreagba, as new Managing Director
NG Clearing has appointed Mr Farooq Oreagba as their new Managing director. NG Clearing is a financial institution in Nigeria whose aim is to strengthen Nigeria's investment environment by using solutions that would reduce risks. Farooq Oreagba’s appointment is coming after the former MD/CEO Tapas Das' tenure ended after 3 years.
The recently appointed Farooq Oreagba, as their new Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO). His appointment was subject to the approval of the Securities and Exchange Commission. NG Clearing disclosed this news via a statement which was released yesterday, Wednesday.
They revealed that it was the Board of Directors of NG Clearing who appointed him as the new director. This was due to his expertise and achievements in the financial sector.
The statement read “After a transparent, competitive and comprehensive search process, the Board is pleased to have found the best individual to assume leadership of this world-class organisation. We are thrilled to have Mr. Oreagba as our next MD/CEO, and we are confident that his visionary leadership will further enhance the position of NG Clearing as a Strategic Financial Infrastructure in Nigeria’s financial services sector,”
Mr Farooq also spoke saying he looks forward to working with the entire team at NG Clearing. He revealed his goals and visions to break new ground in the market which also aligns with the company's vision.
