The Nigerian Stock Exchange (NGX) opened the first trading day of the week with 510.57 million shares exchanged across 14,611 deals, amounting to a total market turnover of NGN 13.25 billion.

However, compared to the last trading session on Friday, January 31, trading activity saw a significant decline:
• Trading volume dropped by 56%
• Market turnover decreased by 13%

Despite the lower activity, the market capitalization remained at NGN 64.8 trillion.
