Nigerian Army raids hideout, and kills 3 terrorists in Zamfara
Men of the Nigerian Army have raided a hideout for terrorists in Zamfara state recently.
They raided the area yesterday, on Monday to get rid of some terrorists who have been troubling the state.
They engaged in a gunfight with these terrorists and were able to kill 3 of them while some others escaped with injuries.
It was the Director of Defence Media Operations, Major Gen Musa Danmadami who revealed this. He mentioned that they were able to recover some arms and ammunition after the raid.
He said the operations had been carried out at a bandits hideout at Kairu/Kyaram villages in Bukkuyum Local Government Area.
They recovered 2 AK 47 rifles, 1 pump action gun, 3 motorcycles and others.
He went ahead to commend the army and urged people to assist by releasing any information they may have which will help to eliminate all terrorists in the area.
