Nigerian army rescues 24 from terrorists in Zamfara State
The Nigerian Army has rescued about 25 people from terrorists in Zamfara State. They were able to rescue this number who had been abducted by these terrorists.
It was the troops of Operation Hadarin Daji who were able to rescue them. They also killed 4 terrorists during the operation which they carried out in the state.
They rescued the victims after they won in a serious gun battle with the terrorists. This happened yesterday, Friday.
It was the Director of the Army Public Relations, Brigadier General Onyema Nwachukwu, who revealed this in a statement. He revealed that 4 of these terrorists were killed in the gun battle.
The 24 victims they were able to rescue included a child. There were 9 females and 15 males and this child making a total of 24.
The gun Battle occurred at an abandoned village known as Kabugu Lamba and this is located in Maru Local Government Area.
