Nigeria's Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare, Muhammed Ali Pate said Nigerian doctors and nurses abroad are considering returning home if the government builds infrastructure.
Ali Pate said some Nigerian health workers travel abroad for training with the expectation that they will come back home to contribute to the health sector. Some also chose to remain in Nigeria despite the numerous benefits open to them overseas.
Ali Pate added that some professionals will return home only if the government provides enabling infrastructure.
