Nigerian Journalist Peter Enahoro dies at 88

Nigerian journalist Peter Enahoro has passed away. He was a journalist, an author and a publisher. He is popularly known by the name Peter Pan which is his pen name.

He was an iconic journalist and was well known and celebrated for his works in Africa.

He passed away in London, United Kingdom yesterday, April 24, 2023.

It was Ms Bunmi Sofola who is Nigeria's foremost female journalist who announced the news.

She released a statement saying they were announcing the news of his passing with great regret.

She said that the renowned journalist had passed on and he died at the age of 88 years.

The late journalist is famous for writing the book, ‘How to be a Nigerian’.

Some of his many accomplishments is that he is also one of the pioneers of Nigerian journalism.

We learnt that further announcement regarding his funeral will be made later on.
