A Nigerian lady with the X handle @torty_mercy took to X to narrate how her Male bestie abandoned his girlfriend who sponsored him to the United Kingdom. She said the couple were her friends but she was closer to the guy than the lady. Sometime in 2016, the lady was able to secure a job after her NYSC but the guy was still struggling. Due to her unwavering love for him, she asked him to move in with her and she took care of their expenses. After the guy's efforts to secure a job proved abortive, his girlfriend purchased a Toyota Camry for him so he could register for Bolt which he did.
On a fateful day, the guy spoke to his girl about his plans to japa from the country and brainwashed the lady to sponsor him. Before she decided on sponsoring her man, she sought @torty_mercy advice and was warned not to. But she was so in love and went ahead to sponsor her boyfriend.
After the plan had succeeded and the guy was able to JAPA, he told his girlfriend that he was no longer interested in their relationship because she was someone he could not control.
