The Nigerian students in Sudan have begun to flee for safety due to the continued fighting and violence in the state.
They have begun to file from their houses after the sounds of gunshots have continued
There has been a confrontation between the armed forces of Sudan and the paramilitary group, Rapid Support Force.
This fighting has led to the loss of lives of 330 people and about 3,200 people have been injured.
Many people have also been displaced from their homes. Many have begun running for their lives as the issues persisted.
The violence began weeks ago on the 8th of April 2023.
There are over a thousand Nigerian students in Sudan precisely 1,262. They made appeals to the Federal Government to evacuate them from Sudan.
The FG said they have requested permission to evacuate them and called for a ceasefire so as to carry this out.
