Nigerian Troops kill 5 suspected terrorists trying to infiltrate Nigeria from Cameroon.
The Nigerian Troops have killed 5 suspected terrorists who were trying to infiltrate Nigeria from the Cameroon border.
These terrorists are members of Boko Haram and Islamic State of West African Province (ISWAP).
These troops were the ones who were based in The North East and were attached to Operation HADIN KAI. They received Information about their activities and laid ambush for them and killed them.
They engaged the terrorists In a gun duel and eventually the troops won.
This was around Bula Yobe-Darel Jamel which is located in Bama Local Government Area of Borno State
The terrorists killed had been trying to gain entry into Nigeria from the Cameroon border.
It was Maj.-Gen. ES Buba who is the new Director of Defence Media Operations, who revealed this. He mentioned this at the Defence Headquarters in Abuja.
He also added that they were able to capture about 10 of these terrorists as well.
These troops have intensified their efforts in this area to curb such activities of the terrorists.
