Another day another accident, trains are operating in Nigeria but they are not properly managed because people and cars are too close to the train tracks. On Sunday in Kano, a train hit a Dangote Cement truck and a small taxi called keke, nine people died as a result of the accident.


The incident was confirmed by spokesperson of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) in Kano, Abdullahi Labaran.

Labaran said the incident which occurred happened at Obasanjo Road in Kano metropolis, caused panic and gridlock in the area.



A road safety rescue team arrived at the scene and conveyed the victims to the Murtala Muhammad Specialists Hospital in Kano.
