When the winner was finally announced, people who rooted for Ilebaye took to social media to express their excitement and Tacha was one of them. Tacha who isn't on good terms with Mercy Eke was overly excited after Ilebaye won the show.

The statement, "Point proven" didn't sit well with actress Iheme Nancy, who is Mercy Eke's bestie, as she quickly defended her friend. She claimed that Mercy not winning the AllStars doesn't make her a loser because she fought her way to the top 2. Also, no point was proven because Tacha never made it to the finals during the Pepper Dem season while Mercy won the season.
