Nigeria Afrobeats singer Davido has given a befitting response to the narrative that has been circulating the media about him since this afternoon. Amaju Pinnick, an ex-NFF president disclosed at an event how Davido pocketed $94,600 but refused to show up at the show organized in Warri sometime in April. He claimed that a private jet was arranged for Davido to perform at Warri, yet, the singer didn't show up.

This quickly went viral and netizens slammed Davido for doing such while Davido's fans supported their favorite. Some people alleged that Davido was scared to perform at Warri because of a failed business he once had in the city. Others said that Davido is scared of performing in Warri because his safety is not secure.

These rumors and other assumptions filled the media to justify why the Afrobeat singer refused to show up at the Warri show organized by Amaju Pinnick. When Davido saw it, he dismissed the narratives and said that nobody can stop him from performing at Warri. Swipe left to read his response below.

Amaju Pinnick tried to ruin Davido's reputation by saying Davido received $94,600 for a show yet refused to show up. When Davido saw the claims against him, he said he had informed Amaju that he wouldn't be available for the show due to his schedule, yet, Amaju kept using Davido's name to promote the show. That was what triggered the back-and-forth between them
