The Nigerian Stock Market on tuesday rose by N46 bn in market capitalization to close at N13.258trn from N13.212trn this month.

On Monday, the All-Share-Index appreciated by 86.82 point indicating a 0.34 per cent rise to close at 25,413.95 against 25,327.13.

1.073 billion shares worth N7.384bn in 16,684 deals were traded by Investors against 950.414 million shares worth N10.123bn in 16,647 deals traded in the previous week.

The Financial Service Industry took the lead trading 586.761 million shares worth N4.022bn in 8,483 deals followed by the Conglomerate Industry exchanging N799.159mil in value of 307.744 million share in 1,010 deals.

Consumer goods Industry settled for third place trading 50.170 million shares worth N968.272mil in 3,018 deals.

The Financial services Industry contributed 54.76% in volume and 54.47% in value to the total equity turnover.
