Nottingham Forest star Nuno Tavares has deleted his social media account after he was dropped for a football game against Brighton on November 25, 2023.

The Portuguese international had failed to make an impact at Nottingham Forest and had only appeared once, coming off the bench twice.

It is uncertain whether the defender will stay at the club to fight for his place or move to another club when his loan deal comes to an end.

Nottingham Forest have the option of signing the defender on a permanent deal for £12 million.

Tavares may not get the chance to play in the Premier League again if he doesn't impress at Nottingham Forest.

Arteta, on the other hand, will be looking forward to selling the dead woods at the club in a bid to get world-class players to compete for Silverwares next season.

The Portuguese right back arrived from Benfica for a fee worth £7 million back in 2021.

The defender made only 13 appearances for Arsenal before he was sent out on loan to Olympic Marseille.

After that, he returned to the Premier League, hoping he could impress Mikel Arteta.

However, he failed to impress the Spanish manager during the 2023–24 preseason games.

Due to that fact, Tavares was shipped out to Nottingham Forest on a long-term loan on deadline day.

Steve Cooper's men are currently in 14th place on the Premier League table after suffering a defeat to 10-man Brighton.

The Nottingham Forest team had gotten 13 points from 13 matches, and they currently sit above the relegation zone with 8 points.
