NYSC assures corps members of the improvement of security in Borno State
The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has assured its Corps members that there has been an improvement of security in Borno State.
This assurance was specially to the Corp members who have been posted to Borno State. They said the security situation there has improved.
Alhaji Muhammad Adamu-Jiya who is the NYSC Coordinator in Borno state, was the one who disclosed this information during the induction of 1,341 Batch ‘A’, Stream II corps members. This happened on Friday in Katsina state.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) revealed that usually because of the Boko Haram crisis in the State, Corp members who have been posted there will camp in Katsina.
He told them not to panic as there is now peace in the state. Since security has now improved, they will soo reopen the NYSC camp in Borno.
He also wanted them not to engage in any drug abuse, crimes and cultism during their service year. He told them to use social media wisely.
