Oba Lekan Balogun is the Olubadan of Ibadan Land.

When Mr. Mohammed Umar, the new Oyo state comptroller of the Nigerian Immigration Service, visited Oba Lekan, he urged him to provide solutions to the passport issuance delays in the state.

The frustrations and complaints of the people concerning passports should be eradicated in the state. Normally, the international passport is a document that every citizen should obtain with ease, not with difficulty.

Oba further told Mr. Muhammad to take advantage of the new passport office located at Oyo town to hasten the passport issuance rate as delay isn't good for the reputation of the passport office.
