Popular Nigerian musician executive Olamide has revealed why he didn't sign Olaj Lay to his record Label. Olamide is a well-known award winning rapper and music executive. His full name is Olamide Adedeji, but he is simply known as Olamide.

He is the CEO and founder of YBNL (Yahoo Boy No Laptop) record label. He has revealed why he didn't sign Omah Lay to YBNL. He shared this recently during a recent interview with Adesope Olajide who is a British-Nigerian media personality.

He revealed that he didn't sign Omay Lay when he began his career because he had already gotten another deal (been signed by someone else). He revealed that he wanted to sign him and he had contacted him but the singer replied saying he had already been signed by another label then.

He stated “Somebody sent me Omah Lay’s song, ‘Bad Influence,’ I had to like search for him on Instagram. I messaged him that I want to sign him but he told me that he got a deal already.”
