Since the passing of Mohbad, clips of his interviews have been circulating on social media. The most inspiring of them all was a podcast hosted by Wonu Osikoya. During the podcast, the late Mohbad revealed how he sponsored his first three songs with the proceeds from his carpentry work.
Back then, he was his own boss and would walk to the studio to record songs after he was done doing some carpentry jobs. This showed that Mohbad has been a hustler and fought his way up to make a name for himself in the music industry. Unfortunately, death has encapsulated him with its cold hands and he would no longer get to pursue a career as he lies cold in the grave.
