The daughter of Mr. Ibu whose name is Jasmine has announced to the world that one of her father's legs has been amputated. She said Mr.Ibu underwent seven successful surgeries but the Doctor advised that one of his legs must be amputated to keep him alive. This news shocked many as Mr. Ibu is now left to face his new reality.

Recall that a few days back, the legendary John Okafor who is popularly known as Mr. Ibu announced his critical situation and solicited funds. He said that one of his legs was decaying and the Doctor had declared an emergency surgery which the family didn't have adequate funds to sponsor. He called for help so that his legs would not be amputated. Luckily, he got help through the media, and members of the public donated money to help fly him abroad for his surgery.
He is okay now but his worst fear has become a reality he has to embrace and live with for the rest of his life. Mr. Ibu is a veteran actor in the Nollywood movie industry. He is one of the most-loved actors due to the funny characters he plays in movies. He is currently 62 years old.
