The news says that the Ooni got married to Temitope Adesegun.
The marriage rites or ceremony held in Lagos, Magodo on Monday, 24th of October.
The news of the wedding was originally spread by the spokesman of the Ooni of Ife who goes by the name Moses Olafare. He shared this on a Facebook post on Sunday, 23rd of October, which was a day before the wedding.
Olori Temitope Adesegun who is the new wife is the Chief Executive Officer of Hopes Alive Initiatives. She is well learned as she has bagged several degrees.
She is a princess from Adesegun Ibipe Royal Dynasty of Ago-Iwoye in Ijebu North Local Government Area of Ogun State.
Social media users, especially twitter have been reacting to the news of this marriage and they gave begun to compared the Ooni of Ife to the King Solomon in the Bible who had 700 wives and 300 concubines.
