The governor revealed this in a recent interview with Arise TV yesterday at the government house in Osun State. Adeleke said he had always wanted to become a musician but his parents were against it. His family were the type who valued education to the latter. The dancing governor, as he is fondly called, said he is happy that his nephew Davido and his son Adesina Adeleke aka B-red got the opportunity to pursue a career in music unlike him.

Adeleke stated that if the future permits, he may one day fulfill his lifelong dream of becoming an entertainer. He expressed that he loves music to the extent that he always finds himself dancing wherever music is playing. Adeleke recalled that when he got admission into Jackson State university in Alabama, the first activity he took part in was a dancing competition which he won.

The president of the school found it hard to pronounce his name so he resorted to calling him Jackson. Adeleke said that was how he got the name Jackson. This was around the time Michael Jackson was reigning.
