Over 200 people who fled Plateau take refuge in Pankshin
Over 200 people who have fled from Plateau State due to the crisis have taken refuge in Pankshin Local Government Area.
These Internally Displaced Persons(IDPs) ran from the crisis that occurred in Mangu in Plateau State
Many ran from their homes when there was continued attacks on the communities.
These attacks led to the deaths of Many people and loss of properties as some houses were burnt.
The Local Government Council chairman of Pankshin LG, Audu Kak’mena paid a visit to the people in the Internal displaced persons camp which is located in the National Association of Mwaghavul Students, (NAMS) House.
He sympathized with these people due to this incident.
He promised that the council will intervene soonest in their plight.
They have also made appeals to both the state and federal government to assist these people with relief materials
