A single aircraft with the number 5NCCQ crashed near the Lagos airport yesterday at Oba Akran Avenue in Ikeja, Lagos on the main road as Lagosians and motorists were going about their daily activities.
There were two crew members and two passengers on the plane. Fortunately, there were no casualties. The state fire service, National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), LASEMA, and other security bodies arrived on time for the rescue operation.
The aircraft caught fire immediately it crash landed on the road leaving passersby in a state of disarray as they all ran for their dear lives.
However, the survivors were rescued from the crash site and transferred to a hospital immediately for proper treatment.
Lagos State Governor Sanwo-Olu also visited the crash site moments after the news of the crash broke out.
