Pastor rapes and impregnates 15 year old in Rivers state
A man who has been identified to be a pastor in Rivers state has been found to have assaulted a young girl of 15 years old. This girl is now pregnant as well.
Officers of the Rivers State Police Command has arrested this man for raping and impregnating this teenage girl
This incident occurred in Ndele community, which is located in Emohua Local Government Area, Rivers State.
This pastor has been identified as Piler Erekwa and he is 45 years old.
The police arrested chimney after a complaint was made by the teenage girl's inlaw known as Amesi ThankGod. Mr Amesi is the husband of the victim's older sister.
Mr Amesi revealed that the girl and her mother attend the church of this pastor. The girl usually goes to the church to spend time anytime her mother goes to the farm.
After some time, they noticed she was acting strangely and recently, the girl began vomiting. They then took her for a test and discovered she is pregnant.
He threatened to kill her if she didn't reveal who was behind it and she revealed it. The girl's older sister then took her to this pastor who confessed to his crimes and pleaded that the girl should get rid of the baby.
The family didn't allow this because the girl could die and so they reported the case.
They reported to a vigilante group who then reported to the police and the arrest was made.
Grace Iringe-Koko who is the spokesperson of the command has also confirmed the incident.
She revealed that they have made the arrest and are still conducting investigations into the case.
