Pastor Taiwo Odukoya finally laid to rest
Pastor Taiwo Odukoya who passed away about a month ago has finally been laid to rest. Pastor Odukoya was the Senior Pastor of The Fountain of Life Church, Lagos. He passed away on the 7th of August, 2023 in the United States of America. He died at the age of 67 years. He has now been laid to rest in a private tomb in Lagos state.
Recall Pastor Odukoya lost his first wife, Bimbo Odukoya in 2005 in the Sosoliso plane crash and he later got married to Nomthi in 2010 before loosing his second wife in 2021 after a battle with cancer. He has 5 children in total with his wives.
The burial rites commenced on Friday, September 8, with the Service of Songs and then the burial/ Funeral service which started at 11am at the Fountain of Life Church, Ilupeju Lagos on Saturday September 9, 2023.
The Friends and family members of the late pastor bade their final farewells to him as they buried him on Saturday. Bishop David Abioye of the Living Faith Church, Lagos gave a sermon at the hurial and he described Pastor Odukoya as a man of strong character who began his race well and ended well.
Many dignitaries were in attendance at the funeral service some of who include the wife of the Former Vice President of Nigeria Mrs. Dolapo Osinbanjo, Pastor Sam Adeyemi, Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo, Bishop Stephen Adegbite who is CAN President, Lagos Chapter, Bishop David Abioye and Pastor Paul Adefaransi who is the Senior Pastor of House On The Rock Church.
