A Nigerian pastor faces backlash online after criticizing his church members for giving a meager sum of N500 as an offering to God.

In a video making the rounds online, the man of God called out Christians who earn a lot of money but still give petty change as Sunday offerings. He stressed that only small gods like Amadioha accept small offerings. He explained that while most Christians think God isn't after money, their giving shows how much they love Him.

He said, "You can't tell me that you have N1M and God led you to give N500 as an offering. Which God is that God? It's only an oracle that you go to the shrine N200 and they accept. Some of you will say, 'God isn't after our money'. What you are giving shows how much of your heart he has"
