Toyosi Etim Effiong made headlines recently for advising Nollywood actor Kunle Remi's wife to beware of ladies around her husband. In an interview on the Terms & Conditions podcast, Toyosi recalled how she always felt alone in the first two years of her marriage due to her insecurities.
Toyosi recalled how a fan of her husband interrupted their private family moment when she was pregnant with their first child. They were at the hospital for a scan to check the baby's gender when a female fan, one of the hospital workers, barged into the room just to catch a glimpse of her husband.
She said, "Sometimes people see him and they freeze or they start shaking." Toyosi said she has grown to accept that her husband is a public figure and that some people may not be able to control their reactions.
