Pete Edochie laments over the amount of divorce cases in Nollywood
Popular Nollywood actor Pete Edochie has commented on the amount of divorce cases in Nollywood. He lamented over the increase in the amount of broken marriages in the Entertainment industry.
He mentioned that almost all the actresses in Nigeria are divorced. He shared this during a recent interview with popular Nigerian media personality Chude Jideonwo.
Pete Edochie revealed that if one checks the Entertainment industry today, most of the females or actresses who were married are now divorced.
He says almost all of them have left their husbands and he revealed how shocked he was to find out that some Nollywood actresses including Chioma Chukwuka, Ireti Doyle, Tonto Dikeh have also left their husbands.
He says that once you take a vow when getting married, and vow that for better or worse it shouldn't later be for better or out.
He shared that the mistake many people make is thinking that the grass is always greener on the other side.
Recall just recently, May Edochie filed for a divorce from Yul Edochie who is Pete Edochie's son. She also sued both Yul and his second wife, Judy Austin for N100m.
