Plateau attack leads to death of 3 farmers
A recent attack in Plateau state has leas to the death of 3 farmers. These farmers were confirmed dead after the atf k by some bandits in the state. This incident occured on Wednesday and was confirmed yesterday, Thursday September 28, 2023.
The incident happened in the Panyam community, Mangu Local Government of the state. These bandits had attacked the farms of these victims and killed them. The victims were working on their farms within the community community these bandits suddenly attacked them and killed them.
It was the Chairman of Panyam District Development Association, who is Longse Jokle, and also the Secretary of the district, Joshua Gufwam, who confirmed this incident on Thursday. They disclosed this in a statement released on Thursday.
They revealed that they have recovered the dead bodies from the farm the incident occured and have taken the corpse of the victims to their various villages and they have been buried.
Their statement read “We mourn the brutal killing of three of our people in Atuhun panyam: Panshak Peter, Ishaku zumuk, and Yakubu Sokyes by suspected Fulani militias all whose corpses have been recovered from their farms where they were attacked. They have been buried in their respective villages which span into Pushit District.”
They also called on the security agencies and law enforcement to take the matter seriously and find the perpetrators of this crime.
