Police arrest 2 suspected car thieves in Ilorin
Officers of the police command have arrested 2 men who are suspected car thieves. These men were arrested in Ilorin, Kwara state on the 10th of July.
They were arrested in possession of a car which was stolen from a person's house in Osun state.
These two men have been identified as Abdulwasiu Jato and Kolawole Iwalaye.
It was the spokesperson of the Osun State Command SP Yemisi Opalola, who revealed this on Tuesday.
She revealed that the oilers nabbed these two suspects who were in possession of a car which had been stolen at gunpoint from a man's house in Osun.
It was the officers of the Osun state command who arrested these suspects
The victim had reported to the police station on the 11th of May. He revealed he was attacked at his home in Osun state. He says they were 3 men who attacked him and were armed with guns.
They stole his valuables and also stole 2 of his cars which were worth over N12.46 million.
The operatives had then begun investigation and they were able to trail these men to Ilorin and arrested them. They had one of the cars in their possession.
The spokesperson of the command went ahead to share that they will charge these suspects to court after the investigation
