Police arrest 6 armed robbers in Bauchi state

Officers of the police command in Bauchi State have arrested 6 suspected armed robbers in Bauchi state recently.
These men are suspected to be a part of the bandit group known as Sara-Suka group.
These men were rested last Sunday which was the 23rd of July, 2023. They made the arrests around 7:30pm on Sunday.
It was the Police Public Relations Officer in Bauchi state, Ahmed Wakil who revealed this. He confirmed this in a statement which was released on Friday,
He shared that it was the detectives who are attached to ‘C’ divisional police headquarters in Bauchi who made the arrest of these 6 robbers.
He revealed that they made the arrest while raiding a criminal hideout which was located at Nasarawa Madina Quarters in Bauchi.
He revealed that they have conducted preliminary investigation into this case and discovered that these suspects are thugs and are armed robbers.
They recovered some weapons from these armed robbers during their arrest and they include 1 long knife, some dry leaves which they suspect are cannabis sativa (Indian hemp).
They have interrogated these suspects and they have confessed to the crimes. He revealed that they are in custody and will be arraigned in court after all investigation is completed.
