Police arrest a pregnant woman for assaulting her maid
A pregnant woman has been arrested for assaulting her maid recently.
It was the Police Command in Lagos State who arrested this woman.l who is pregnant.
She has been identified as Mrs Eucharia Ndigwe and she is 30 years old.
Reports state that she assaulted and stabbed her maid with a Knife for failing to wash a bag.
It was SP Benjamin Hundeyin who is the command’s Public Relations Officer that confirmed the News of the arrest. This was during an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN). This was on Saturday.
He revealed that it was the Ijanikin Police Division who arrested the woman on Saturday. This was after they had gotten the information of this crime.
The maid who is the victim has been identified as Florence Anienene.
After the arrested her, they found out she was heavily pregnant and then transferred her to the Gender Unit of the command.
He mentioned they will take care of her while the investigation is been carried out because she is pregnant.
“While she is there, they will take care of her medically while the investigation is ongoing,” he said.
