Police arrest Delta chief for defiling a 14 year old girl
The Delta State Police Command have arrested a community chief in Delta State for assaulting and 14 year old girl.
This chief has been identified as Oshiji. He had defiled a 14 year old teenage girl in the state
He has been taken into police custody in Umutu Police Division. The incident occured in the Ukwuani Local Government Area of the state.
This Chief was found to have committing this crime which is raping the young girl repeatedly.
This young girl is a JSS1 student and this chief had lured her with N50. This was the 3rd time he had done so. He lured her into an uncompleted building where he raped her.
This same chief happens to have four wives and lots of children.
The girl told her story and revealed that the man had raped her twice.
The chief happens to be a neighbour of this girl’s family. Their houses are close to each other and he had been raping her in this uncompleted building.
She revealed that the chief had also threatened to kill her if she told anybody about what he had done.
She says he was exposed during his 3rd attempt to assault her because he had allegedly forced her to take drugs
She had revealed this to her mother was she had began bleeding excessively. It was then they arrested this chief.
The Police Public Relations Officer of Delta State, DSP Bright Edafe, has confirmed this incident. He confirmed the arrest of this chief yesterday, Thursday.
He confirmed that the chief is currently in the police custody and also mentioned that they have commenced an investigation into the incident.
